It was a mad dash at noon on Friday, April 18 as hundreds of Lake Country kids scrambled to collect Easter eggs at the annual hunt.
To celebrate Good Friday and Easter weekend, the event took place at Jack Seaton Park on the best weather day of the year so far, with warm temperatures and not a cloud in the sky.
After nearly two hours of games and activities around the park, the hunt was on as the kids were split into age groups and sent off to collect Easter eggs. Each child had to collect six eggs and return them to the District of Lake Country tent to claim a candy bag.
Other vendors with their own stands also had Easter treats for everyone who attended. The local fire department also let kids get photos with a fire truck, while one vendor was giving away small plants.
