After five years in downtown Kelowna, a restaurant known for it乌鸦传媒檚 variety of cocktails is shutting it乌鸦传媒檚 doors for good.

Open since Canada day 2018, Jack乌鸦传媒檚 on Bernard era is coming on Jan. 1.

乌鸦传媒淒espite the hopes of remaining a staple in Kelowna乌鸦传媒檚 food and beverage scene, the lack of government support for businesses affected by unforeseen events became the decisive factor,乌鸦传媒� said owner Casey Greabeiel. 乌鸦传媒淛ack乌鸦传媒檚 had a remarkable five-year run, but a series of challenges, culminating in the August fire, has led us to this difficult decision.乌鸦传媒�

Greabeiel added that over a four-week span due to the Grouse Complex of wildfires in August, the restaurant lost more than $100,000 in revenue.

Despite losing Jack乌鸦传媒檚, the restaurant乌鸦传媒檚 entire team will be transitioning to roles with other restaurants under the Unconventional Hospitality Group umbrella, which includes Pretty Not Bad, Salt & Brick, and Diner Deluxe.

乌鸦传媒淲hile bidding farewell to Jack乌鸦传媒檚 was a tough decision, we are excited about consolidating our efforts and resources into our other projects,乌鸦传媒� said Greabeiel.

Jack乌鸦传媒檚 on Bernard will have one final celebration on New Year乌鸦传媒檚 Eve at 5 p.m. Jack乌鸦传媒檚 final hurrah will have people dancing late into the night.
