Multiple weather warnings are in effect as three major highways are expecting 15-40 cm of snow throughout Wednesday.
Just before 4 a.m., Environment Canada put a winter storm warning in place for the Coquihalla Highway from Hope to Merritt and on the Trans-Canada Highway from Eagle Pass to Rogers Pass. Both routes are expecting 25-40 cm of snow from now until Thursday, along with heavy winds.
Additionally, DriveBC has put a travel advisory in effect for the Coquihalla.

Highway 3 from Hope to Princeton is under a snowfall warming and is expected 15-25 cm of snow, as well as gusty winds that will develop later in the day on Feb. 28.
ѻýRapidly accumulating snow could make travel difficult over some locations,ѻý said Environment Canada. ѻýVisibility will be suddenly reduced to near zero at times in heavy snow and blowing snow.ѻý
Environment Canada also suggests to consider postponing non-essential travel until weather conditions improve.
