Multiple vehicles are involved in a crash at the intersection of Highway 97 and Highway 33 in Kelowna Saturday afternoon.
The crash took place shortly before 3:30 p.m. April 5. Black Press Media has a reporter at the scene.
Highway 97 is currently partially blocked northbound with only one lane getting through, and traffic is backing up. The left turn lane from Highway 33 onto 97 southbound is also blocked.
One of the vehicle's airbags was deployed in the crash. Debris can be seen scattered across the highway.
Fire trucks and ambulances are on scene.
Multiple vehicles have been able to drive away from the scene so they are no longer blocking the intersection.
Paramedics are currently inspecting passengers of the vehicles but it does not appear that anyone is being taken to hospital.
