Kelowna Nordic Ski Club received a donation from Kelowna Subaru toward buying a new groomer on April 15, 2025.

Kelowna Nordic Ski and Snowshoe Club is flying high today after receiving a boost for its current fundraiser from Kelowna Subaru.

The club has been fundraising for a new groomer, a cost of about $600,000.

Kelowna Subaru presented a cheque for $10,000 to bring the fundraiser within $120,000 of its goal.

ѻýKelowna Nordic is so very appreciative of this very significant donation towards a new Groomer for Kelowna Nordicѻý, said club president Marshall Moleschi. ѻýThis support will go a long way toward the purchase of our much-needed new Grooming Machine. As many in the Central Okanagan know, our current machines are a quarter of a century old, suffered significant and frequent breakdowns this past season and are over 30 per cent past their best years. The need for a new groomer is important and urgent.ѻý

The cheque presentation was held in the Kelowna Subaru show room on April 15.
