UPDATE: RCMP no longer looking into 'incident' in West Kelowna neighbourhood

UPDATE: 12:51 p.m.

After RCMP put out a plea to the public, on Wednesday, to help identify two people involved in a suspicious circumstance in a West Kelowna neighbourhood, police are now saying the matter has been resolved. 

Cpl. Michael Gauthier said RCMP spoke with the two individuals and is no longer seeking assistance in identifying them.

In a Feb. 26 RCMP release, police stated there is no active criminal investigation into the matter, however, in reviewing neighbourhood surveillance video officers were acting out of an abundance of caution in asking the individuals to come forward. 


A suspicious circumstance in a West Kelowna neighbourhood has RCMP asking two individuals to come forward and explain what they were doing there.

Police say the suspicious circumstance occurred on Rosefield Drive at approximately 6:30 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 17. Video shows shows two individuals and a dark coloured pickup truck associated to the incident. One individual is believed to be a man and the other a woman.

Police are asking those individuals to contact the West Kelowna RCMP at 250-768-2880 and reference file number 2025-8593.
