A semi-truck blocked a road in East Kelowna for more than two hours, Friday night.
The truck spun sideways on McCulloch and Pooley Road at about 6 p.m., becoming stuck in the snow.
Kelowna residents were prevented from using the road after the semi-trailer was lodged across the intersection.
According to social media posts, there is a ѻýno heavy trucksѻý sign displayed in the area.
The road was cleared and the truck moved by 9:30 p.m. Friday.
However, those living in the area took to multiple social media pages to air their grievances over the incident.
Transport trucks often travel through designated roads in East Kelowna.
McCulloch is a snow removal priority 1 road for the city, meaning the street is cleared and sanded within eight hours of snowfall ending. While Pooley is a priority 3 road, which means the street is cleared and sanded within 48 hours of snowfall ending.
Environment Canada is forecasting periods of light snow overnight with temperatures of -4 C.
