Former WWE star Eugene and Thrash Wrestling are bringing a royal rumble match to the Rutland Arena.

During his time in the WWE, Eugene feuded with the likes of Triple H and won tag team titles with William Regal and Tajiri. At Thrash Wrestling's "K-Town Kontra" event, he'll be challenging well-known Canadian heel "Mr. Beefy Goodness" Vance Nevada. 

The May 2 event, at the Rutland Arena, will feature an over the top rope royal rumble with nearly 30 participants will crown a new Thrash Wrestling Champion. Shreddz, Collin Cutler, Danni Deeds, Rayden The Destroyer, Chase Degenhardt, Davey Deals, and many more will take their shot at the title.

In women's wrestling action, local star "The Vixen" Jade, takes on American rival "Danika Della Rouge" in a body bag match, seeing the winner bag and zipper up their opponent to secure the win. Tag team champions The Enterprise take on new challengers from Edmonton, The Handsome Devils. 

Tickets are $30, and $35 for VIP seating and early entry to the venue at 6 p.m. Regular door time is 7 p.m.
