Westside Road reopens to single-lane alternating traffic following rainfall

Westside Road has reopened to single-lane alternating traffic on Tuesday morning, April 8.

Following multiple downpours of rain through the day on Monday, April 7, Westside Road has reopened to single-lane alternating traffic between Main Street and
Denison Road on Tuesday morning. 

Traffic delays remain expected in the area and traffic control is on scene.

The stretch of Westside Road reopened on Sunday, April 6 but was closed again on Monday morning due to the heavy rain and an increased landslide risk.

Additionally, Central Okanagan Search and Rescue (COSAR) and the West Kelowna RCMP are looking for a missing person in relation to the landslide
