Tributes to a Penticton man who died in a workplace accident Friday are pouring in on social media.

Emergency services haven乌鸦传媒檛 officially released his name yet, but friends are sharing memories of Quin Cormier, who was sent to hospital after a serious workplace accident at Skaha Ford on April 28, and later passed away.

Friends have also set up a gofundme page in memory of Cormier to assist his family with expenses related to his sudden death.

First responders received a call for a man pinned between two vehicles in the mechanics shop area of Skaha Ford at around 11:40 a.m. Friday.

乌鸦传媒淭here was a medical emergency involving a male. Firefighters arrived along with B.C. Ambulance Service who conducted CPR and AED protocols,乌鸦传媒� said Penticton fire department chief Larry Watkinson.

WorkSafeBC confirmed they were notified by the RCMP of a 乌鸦传媒渟erious workplace incident乌鸦传媒� and had fatal and serious injury officers currently on site investigating.

In a sad case of irony, Cormier乌鸦传媒檚 workplace accident came on the National Day of Mourning for those who have lost their lives to work-related incidents.
