The Abbotsford Canucks are in the midst of the greatest win streak in Canucks organizational history.

The Abbotsford Canucks are in the midst of a white-hot 11-game win streak that is quickly turning into a historical run for any team ever involved with the Vancouver Canucks organization.

It's believed that no other primary affiliate team associated with Vancouver has ever won 11 consecutive games.

Wednesday's (April 2) 6-3 win over the San Diego Gulls eclipsed the AHL's Utica Comets 10-game win streak in 2015 and Central Hockey League's Tulsa Oilers 10-game streak in 1976. The 1986 Fredericton Express of the AHL also recorded an eight-game win streak. Every other affiliate associated with Vancouver has managed just seven games or less.

The Vancouver Canucks have never reached 11 games and the club record for a win streak is 10 set in 2002.

The News was unable to find concrete details about the results of the Dallas Black Hawks in the 1980-81 CHL season. Dallas was Vancouver's top affiliate that season and finished atop the league with a 56-17-7 record. It's possible that Dallas had a lengthy win streak at some point, but results were not available.

The AHL's Abbotsford Canucks became Vancouver's top affiliate in 2021 and prior that the team was served by Utica (2013-2021), the Chicago Wolves (2011-2013), the Manitoba Moose (2001-2011), the IHL's Kansas City Blades (2000-2001), the Syracuse Crunch (1994-2000), the Hamilton Canucks (1992-1994), the Milwaukee Admirals (1988-1993), Fredericton (1982-1988), Dallas (1978-1982), the CHL's Tulsa Oilers (1975-1978), the CHL and WHL's Seattle Totems (1971-1974) and the Rochester Americans (1970-1972).

Throughout Vancouver's affiliate history there were several times that the team shared a minor league club with another NHL team, including Fredericton, Tulsa and Utica.

The Abbotsford Canucks have an opportunity to extend the win streak to 12 games when they welcome the Laval Rocket to the Abbotsford Centre on Saturday (April 5).
