West Kelowna council has established a new organization to pursue economic growth and prosperity in the community. 

Mayor Gord Milsom announced the creation of the West Kelowna Economic Development Corporation (WKEDC) at council乌鸦传媒檚 March 25 meeting.

乌鸦传媒淭o guide this initiative the city will be seeking motivated and experienced individuals to serve on the board of directors.乌鸦传媒�

Milsom added their goal is to help shape the corporation乌鸦传媒檚 strategic direction, and contribute to the success of business development, retention and expansion in West Kelowna.

The city is looking for individuals with experience in legal and risk management; accounting; development planning or construction; agricultural, agri-tourism, or the wine industry; small business and retail; manufacturing and tech; and secondary or post-secondary education.
